PHYSICAL THERAPY
CLASSIC
Classic Physical Therapy
Hilary treats most orthopedic injuries and diagnoses (see list below). You and Hilary will create a plan 100% tailored to what you need to heal, progress and return to activity. We can address several areas at once and look at the whole picture.
All ages, activity levels and motivated patients are who Hilary loves to work with. You don’t have to consider yourself an ‘athlete’ to connect and heal at HM PT.
Plans often start at 1x/week and then spread out as needed. We can be as flexible as needed. Email communication with Hilary through the process.
In-person, virtual or a combination.
DRY NEEDLING
Dry needling is a modality utilized to relax and reset muscles that are tight and down regulate the nervous system.
I use dry needling as a tool in combination with other manual techniques, strengthening and other physical therapy interventions.
A key tool to improving plantar fasciitis, knee pain, glute pain, shoulder and lumbar/cervical symptoms.
In-person, virtual or a combination.
RUNNING SPECIFIC
Running Specific
Running is a sport that combines skills, strength, mechanics and training. It is a sport that can be hard on the body with injuries being common place. Using video analysis, strength screening, strength programs and volume management, Hilary can work with you to fix injuries, keep you running, back stronger and a savvier runner.
Depending on the runners injury status - the plan may start with weekly visits and then spread out as tissues heal and we work to return runner to form with strength and run specific goals.
Often, I will end up consulting with runner during high volume or race training blocks to stay on top of injury, tissue health, volume management and strengthen - usually meeting monthly.
In-person, virtual or a combination.
REHAB &
RETURN TO SPORT
Rehab and Return to Sport
Rehab from surgery or injury is so important to get right. The phases of acute healing, to getting back on your feet and then taking the time to get the body back to your sport or activity are all very important. The first 2 phases are usually done pretty well but the, Return to Sport phase is often missed and needs to be emphasized.
These plans can often require many visits, I have a reduced rehab rate that is often similar to co-pays and will work with patients financially to see what works.
In-person, virtual or a combination.
